Yes! I should've said that myself.

Perhaps if someone were unclear on the distinction it might be better to inform rather than being brusque with them.
Shipley started an interesting topic let's please not discourage anyone from doing the same in the future.

I would find it interesting to know, of the stated players and coaches, who went in what direction.
Who played Semi-Pro or Minor League ball before making it to the Super Bowl and who did so later.
I would imagine older ex-NFL players "going down" to the Minors might be more common than a Minor League/Semi-Pro player making it tot he Super Bowl but I don't know that for a fact...

Shouldn't the Packers' Bob Brown be on this list since Wheeling was a minor league team that he played on?

Mark Moseley kicked for the Fredericksburg Generals after his NFL career was over.

Most of the the ones from the 1960s that I know off the top of my head went from the minor leagues to the NFL (or AFL). A few examples: Bryant, Dolbin, Knight, Kuechenberg, Manders, Sistrunk, Stabler, Vactor, Widby, Yepremian ...
