2 more that came to mind:

Rashaan Salaam: 1995 w/ Bears

Karim Abdul-Jabbar: 1996 w/ Dolphins

Though he had two 1000 yard receiving seasons, Michael Crabtree was a major disappointment for his career, especially in SF ... He could have caught the winning TD pass in the SB against the Ravens but couldn't fight through his defender, trying to complain for the call. Stats werent bad, yet he needed another receiver opposite him to be effective. In fairness, getting hurt in 2013, set his career back ...

So? How many were short yardage plunges or easy walk ins?

He was not a good running back. Poor YPC. Not very elusive or explosive

Name a RB with great YPC but few touchdowns

Of the 33 rushing touchdowns Abdul-Jabbar scored, 21 were from 3 yards or less, plus another 7 touchdowns from 4 or 5 yards.

Actually CS ... Jamaal Charles and Mercury Morris had high yards per carry, over 5.0 but low TD numbers. Morris should have had a much better career but got his hand caught in the cookie jar.

One that came to mind was Tony Dorsett. He definitely had fewer than most would expect. Had a lot of years of around 4-5-6 rushing scores. Never a big compiler of as they spread the wealth around Newhouse, Springs, Laidlaw. His best season (1981) he scored just four. Joe Cribbs after his rookie season is another

Definitely Greg Pruitt. Outstanding YPC but never a lot of touchdowns

He had an average YPC number but still notable that Joe Washington had 1,195 career regular season rushing attempts but only scored on 12 of them.
