Within Willie Wood's profile on the Packers Hall of Fame website the following is written: "The Packers signed Wood as a non-drafted free agent on Jan. 4, 1960, according to his personnel file in the NFL office."

I'd imagine the answer is no but I wanted to see if anyone here could provide any insight... are personnel files of past NFL players available to the public? I'm hoping to find information on the specific dates that draft choices signed with their teams.

I don't know for a fact, but I imagine those kinds of files would remain off-limits, even to legitimate researchers. Privacy concerns.
