What specific thing do Gene Stallings and Ray Handley, together, have to do with the Montana-Era Niners?

The Bills defeated the Patriots 31-0 in the first week of the 2003 season. The Patriots beat the Bills 31-0 in the last week of the 2003 season.
The Bills defeated the Dolphins in their last meeting of the 1969 season, then lost every game (20 in all) against the Dolphins during the 1970s, then beat the Dolphins in the first meeting of the 1980 season.
During the 1962 season, Bills QB Warren Rabb had a six-game unbeaten string going (5 wins, 1 tie) when he was ignominiously benched by Lou Saban in favor of recently-acquired Jack Kemp. kemp, of course, went on to lead the Bills to two league championships. Rabb, despite the six-game string, is considered just another schlepp in the litany of Bills QBs who came before Kemp (O'Connell, Greene, Reynolds, Brodhead, Lucas, Dorow ...)

John Unitas and Dan Marino were both born and raised in Pittsburgh. Both lost a Super Bowl with Don Shula, where the winning QB was a guy named Joe, who also hailed from Western PA.
Marino and Unitas both have the same middle name. Constantine.

During the 1950s, the Packers had a pair of safeties, Bobby Dan Dillon and Val Joe Walker, who had only three eyes and 18 fingers between then.

In a 1981 game in Dallas, Joe Washington hurt his ribs and missed a good portion of the game. Post game Tom Landry was quoted (I haven't been able to find it, but I remember reading it) as saying "Washington is not Washington without Washington"

The Seahawks played the Broncos five times in 1983. The dates were January 2, August 5, November 6, November 20, and December 24.

Mel Farr tackled his brother Miller Farr during a game on December 6, 1970.

In Week 17 of 2008, the Packers had two 100-yard runners and two 100-yard receivers. This is the first time such a thing happened. Also, that game saw a player on an 0-15 team get flagged for taunting.

Fred McAfee led the Saints in rushing in 1991 and scored a touchdown for them 15 seasons later.

George Blanda played so long that he had a Hall of Fame teammate who played in the 1930s and had another teammate who played in the Arena Football League.

Four consecutive passes were intercepted in the third quarter of the 12-10-78 Buccaneers at 49ers game. Scott Bull threw an interception to Cedric Brown. Mike Rae then threw the next one to Chuck Crist. The next two passes were thrown by Steve DeBerg. Aaron Brown picked off the first one and Jeris White the other. There were other plays mixed in including sacks and three consecutive punts.

After Ray Malavasi was caught on tape criticizing some of the Rams players, his response was as follows: "I don't care if it's on tape, I didn't say it."
