'Mt Rushmore' All-Time QBs

Not that any of us place real stock in NFL Network though many of us watch it anyway, but just recently (in yet another example of the network being way too new-school-friendly) some of the commentators took turns naming their 'Rushmore' (top 4) all-time NFL QBs including some rather 'interesting' choices. Needless to say, Otto wasn't mentioned at all and I think 'U' was only mentioned in one's MtR. Montana & Marino, however, were mentioned in most of them (yes, I guess you know what my MtR of QBs is). Brady, who of course just about everyone included, I would have to place right on the outside looking in despite me not at all being a Pats fan. Slinging Sammy who's in my 'Rushmore' of all-time players (he being #1 overall IMO) is just shy despite being, pretty much, the first 'modern' QB. All-time King of Super Bowl QBs, Terry (4-0, all close games, and called his own plays), I can't place into the 'top-4' either despite the impartial obvious on my part. Anyways, what are all of yours? Sorry if this was already done.

This is almost an annual thread for us, the consensus usually ends up being Baugh, Graham, Unitas and Montana (which is my four, personally) ...

I saw the NFLN piece also and thought about posting something, too.

Heath Evans had: Brady, Brees, Montana and Marino.
Thomas Davis had: Brady, Brees, Manning and Marino.
Fans Choice was: Brady, Manning, Montana and Elway.

Funny this topic should come up. I actually have a running top 100 of all time list that I update every offseason. If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll send it to you.

QB's or all players? What did you use to put it together, what criteria or just based on personal opinion?

Just QBs.

Three main criteria used...
1. Total passing yardage in relation to what an average QB of his era threw for.
2. Touchdown pass / Interception ratio, again in relation to what an average QB of his era produced.
3. Overall team success

With a sprinkling of "intangibles". :)

Baugh, Graham, Starr and Montana.

Yes, I am biased but also believe Starr is slighted by historians and media.

Montana and Unitas (can't decide on number 1. Never been able to)

The next two would be between Graham, Baugh, Manning and Brady....I can't choose which two.
