AFL Championship Game MVP's
1960 Billy Cannon (Houston)
1961 Billy Cannon (Houston)
1962 Jack Spikes (Dallas)
1963 Keith Lincoln (San Diego)
1964 Jack Kemp (Buffalo)
1965 Jack Kemp (Buffalo)
1966 Len Dawson (Kansas City)
1967 Daryle Lamonica (Oakland)
1968 Joe Namath (New York)
1969 Otis Taylor (Kansas City)
I don't know if there is a list published anywhere
these are known

1960-don't think there is one
1961 Paul Hornung
1962 Ray Nitschke
1963 Larry Morris
1964 Gary Collins
1965 Jim Taylor
1966-You mention Starr, I've never see it in a paper, but I could have easily missed it--but Starr makes sense.
1967 Bart Starr
1968 Tom Matte
1969 Joe Kapp

I was content to let this informative thread fade into obscurity but here we go again. I was looking at 1966 Bart Starr photos (Getty Images) and noticed two photos of Starr's 1966 Bert Bell Trophy. Huh? Every source I have lists Don Meredith as the 1966 Bert Bell winner. Like the Lamonica trophies, this one appears to be in amazing shape. I'm baffled as to why Starr would have one of these, even though he was the NFL's consensus MVP pick in 1966.

These photos were taken on August 31, 2015 at the Packers Hall of Fame - Lambeau Field (click on them to enlarge):

Could the Bert Bell Trophy be associated with a different organization and not the Maxwell Club? Bert Bell Trophy vs Bert Bell Award?

While you were finding your photo I found these
there are Trophies---like the Larry Brown one you found and these, the Warren Moon and Kan Staber, 1976

The earlier ones were a Silver Platter, round for Outstanding Professional Football Player, square for College

Now, the Bert Bells that Lamonica and Starr have---I have a guess as to what organization they
are but let me search Newspapers.com and see what I find...guessing PFWA, NY Chapter but cannot
find any proof they call it the Bert Bell Trophy.

1959 Unitas with the more rounded platter of whatever you call it...

They seem a little different every year. Slightly for the porofessional
Bert Bell Award...hard to tell on the College Maxwell
