1963 NFL/AFL season discussion

So much obvious things to say about it! Couldn’t help but to start this thread after mentioning that NFL Eastern Conference race on the other thread. This would have to be the #1 professional football season of the decade as well as one of the best, or at least notable, ever.

I never realized that FOUR teams were still alive for the NFL East going into the final week. :shock:

Only two teams, NYG and PIT, were alive in the NFL East going into the final weekend. The Giants would win the East with a win or tie vs. PIT, and the Steelers with a win vs. NYG.
