Post by RyanChristiansen »

Sean Jones, defensive end, played 13 years in the NFL (1984-1996), first with the Raiders (Los Angeles 1984-1987), then with the Houston Oilers (1988-1993) and Green Bay Packers (1994-1996). He was named to the Pro Bowl once and has a Super Bowl ring (Green Bay 1996). He played in postseason competition in 11 seasons, including nine consecutive seasons with the Oilers and Packers.

During the span of his career, three defensive ends recorded more sacks than Jones (113), and all of them are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Reggie White (147.5), Bruce Smith (140.0), and Richard Dent (130.0). One player in the Hall of Fame recorded fewer sacks, Chris Doleman (112), during Jones' career.
