There is such an imbalance of skill players versus non-skilled players (so-called) by my rough calucations
it's about 100 more skills vs non-skills in HOF compared to how they line up.

Sure, it' natural to move more QB, RBs, and receivers---but that many?

Would like to see them try and get that a little more fairly balanced.

of course, the voters won't.

also, this a hypothetical, last year Ira Kaufman was in the room, this year he will not be

so, I don't know how he voted, but let's say he voted for Riley and whoever
is replacing him does not vote for Riley

if it happened to be a close vote last year--then it could mean Riley loses ground

but if he's replaced by someone who votes the same then it is the same

you guys get the point---the mix of 5 voters can change things
as much as the HOF advisor(s)

John, I think it will have to go defense but would they dare go special teams with people already wanting Hester to go in as a modern ? Parrish or Abe Woodson could fit both bills but its highly doubtful. If they went offense, another guard or tackle wouldnt get an argument from me, especially with Kuechenberg available ...

you make good points but there I think there is zero chance for Kuech or Lemar Parrish or Woodson this year or even Joe Jacoby--

Charles Woodson gave a great, emotional speech as well. Hollywood should sign him up for action movies ...
