Kent Hull, HOVG?

Post by Gary Najman »

Next year, the late Kent Hull will be eligible for the HOVG and I think he has a case. 3 Pro Bowl selections and 2 first-team All-Pro selections, plus 2 second-team All-Pro selections in his 11 seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, plus starting in 4 Super Bowls. He also was All-USFL in 1985 playing with the New Jersey Generals. I always wondered why he wasn't selected by an NFL team in the 1983 Draft.

Hull was the best lineman on an underrated line that had a good core with Ritcher, Devlin, Wolford, Ballard and later, Parker ... Deserving of the HOF ...
