Fellow fans,

My book, NFL 1965: The Most Exciting Season was published earlier this year by McFarland Books. Based principally on newspaper accounts, it puts that amazing campaign--culminating in the Colts-Packers playoff in Green Bay with Tom Matte at quarterback--within the context of the NFL in the 1960s. I also drew on wonderful interviews with the late Tom Matte, Dave Robinson, Bill Curry, Roman Gabriel, Ken Willard, Andy Livingston, Fran Tarkenton, Dick LeBeau, and many more. 25-minute highlight films of an astonishing number of critical games from that season are now available on youtube and can enhance your viewing pleasure. Every single regular season game gets thorough treatment, and as many of you recall, they were playing a very exciting brand of football in those days. I am sure that many people here would enjoy it, and if you do, I hope that you will add to the amazon reviews.

I've had my eye on this one for a while. I'll try to pick it up sometime soon.
