This looks interesting. Does anyone know the author or know anything more about this?

I was initially really interested in this book. Then I read its description on Amazon and came away with the feeling that this book is all about off-the-field matters. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's not where my interest lies. I'm a numbers and stats guy. If anyone has this book, please let me know what it's like.

Yesterday a real good interview with the author Patrick Gallivan was on Arnie Chapman's podcast posted, the football history dude found on SportsHistoryNetwork.com. It gives some great insight into the book.
