2015 NFL Record and Fact Book

I proudly maintain my complete collection of Record and Roster Manuals (1941-1983) as well as NFL Record & Fact Books (1984 - 2014).

I've been patiently waiting for the release of the 2015 edition of the Record book, which ought to feature the Patriots on the cover for having won the super bowl. From prior experience, I know that an online version of the record manual is posted about a month or so before the paperback version is released. The publishing dates for the last few books have been:

2014 (July 29, 2014)
2013 (July 23, 2013)
2012 (July 24, 2012)
2011 (July 26, 2011)

...and so on. So late July, typically.

I contacted NFL general information via email to ask about the book and the response I got said they were unsure of if/when the book would be published. Other online forums said that there would not be a printed version at all, yet on the patriots twitter page a few weeks ago, an image of the book was posted:

https://twitter.com/Patriots/status/621 ... 76/photo/1

Anyone have any information on this? I can't picture years of completing my record book collection would result in me just looking at pdf files...Thanks!

UPDATE:

The 2015 NFL Record and Factbook (Much like many 2015 NFL team media guides) has switched to PDF download only. The Record book is free online to any fan or researcher to download, but physical copies do exist that were printed and distributed to NFL media members and historians. I'm not sure what's needed for the NFL to be able to send you a copy. You can also buy a copy on eBay, I've seen them floating around for $90 - $200.

Sorry to be a thread necrophiliac. :)

I, too, have (almost) every guide back to 1941 and it pained me when they went PDF-only. I guess I'm an old codger, still hanging on to dead trees, but there's something about having them all lined up on the shelves and knowing you can just pull one out at any time to check on a stat or a rule.

Oh, well. Time marches on. I downloaded the 2015 and 2016 editions. Now all I need are a few from the 50s and I'll be set.
