RB Tommy Watkins put in a solid six seasons (1962-67) with the Lions before playing one game with Pittsburgh in '68.

Actually, Watkins was a member (albeit briefly) of 4 teams in '68. He was sent from Detroit to LA in the Bill Munson trade; released and played 1 game with Pitt; then signed with San Diego (didn't play); finished year on Rams taxi squad.

Watkins retired in spring '69 and stayed in Detroit, running a couple McDonald's burger joints and coaching HS ball. He died in 2011.

Yes, Zorn was an UDFA for the Cowboys but didn't make the final cut.

Dale was waived to the Bears in 1974 but retired in mid August. Maybe he should have stuck it out one more year. He could have helped the 1974 Bears, but then who couldn't?
Dale's 19.7 YPC over eight seasons as a Packer is the team's high mark for 150 or more receptions, impressive when you consider the franchise's long history and receivers over that time.

Ron Yary spent his 15th and final season (1982) with the Rams as a backup, after starting all 16 games for the Vikings in 1981.

Two-time Pro Bowl kicker Toni Linhart started his career with two games for the Saints in 1972 and ended it with 5 games for the Jets in 1979. Former Saints kicker Rich Szaro also played his final game for the Jets that season.
