Marchetti's 3 games out of retirement with the Colts in 66. He was largely playing inside at Tackle and had zero sacks in his final season.

Frank Gatski - Detroit Lions 1957

I thought Gatski played very well for the Lions that year.

It ends that way a lot, even for the greats. Makes you appreciate the Jim Browns, etc..

In 1957, Gatski held out with the Browns. It was late in the preseason that he joined the Browns, but Cleveland by then had Art Hunter set to play center for them. So, Gatski was traded to Detroit, which worked out pretty well for Frank as the Detroit Lions won the NFL Championship that year.

John Sandusky played pretty well for Green Bay in 1956, IMO (I have watched him on film). Sandusky was the starting right tackle for Cleveland from 1952 through 1954. In 1955, Hall of Fame tackle Mike McCormack was available to play right tackle, so Sandusky was a reserve in 1955. At Green Bay in 1956, John was the starting right tackle.
