Playoff scheduled time of games

Maybe I'm easily annoyed but could someone please explain to me why both wild card playoff games that are indoors are the early games and the outdoor games are the late games? I just find that odd that the NFL is forcing players and fans to endure colder weather for what reason? It seems to happen e...

Re: Who is on your NFL broadcast “dream team?”

Don Criqui was my all time favorite play by play guy followed closely by Charlie Jones Jim Nantz is a golf announcer doing football. He's usually behind the play and too slow to realize what is happening or what has happened. He can't keep up. A slow/boring sport like golf is where he excels. Nantz...

Late 70's Giants LBs

Harry Carson, Brad Van Pelt & Brian Kelley

Switched to 3-4 in 79' Dan lloyd was the fourth so he didn't help make them better.

Re: NFL "what-if" scenarios thread

As a 1970's Cowboys fan 1) What if the ref in Super Bowl 5 calls the fumble recovery correctly? 2) What if Percy Howard starts instead on Golden Richards on Super Bowl 9? 3) What if Jackie Smith catches the ball? My opinion Cowboys win 5 but probably don't get to 6. Howard was a bigger receiver and ...

Re: Joe Kapp memoir

Sounds interesting but based on the write up I would be surprised if it goes in depth on the Contract fiasco with the Vikings that led to his departure in 1970.

Re: Browns Steelers fight

I agree I don’t think Rudolph should be suspended. What I don’t like is the fact that what he did was discounted as a nonfactor in this mess here and by a good deal of the media. Like I said if he just waited and got up no harm no foul. It’s not like he was in a prison shower. Rudolph’s overreaction...

Re: Browns Steelers fight

There is no reason to suspend Rudolph. How many players get into a scuffle and grab another player's facemask? How many are suspended for doing so? I could say that the Steelers contributed to the mess by passing with 15 seconds left. The game was OVER. Run the ball and end it. Garrett grabbed Rudo...

Re: Browns Steelers fight

Quick question doesn't Rudolph have some blame? If he just got up none of this would have happened. Granted Garrett's reaction was way out of line but I find it humorous how Rudolph is coming of as a cherub. I think that all the suspensions were warranted but again if he doesn't try to play tough g...

Re: Browns Steelers fight

Oh and by the way Garrett would have gotten less of a suspension if he beat a woman. So think about that.
