Re: Ram's owner unveils L.A. Stadium design

I was thinking the Coliseum may draw attention as a stadium option. I guess not though because there are too many provisions in the master lease, that an NFL team would have to enter, with USC. Don't think a long-term commitment would work playing there, either. I am convinced that the NFL would ne...

Re: Colts Propose 9-point Play?

I'm SO not for this...'9-pt' possibility! I'm also not for changing a thing with the extra-point play! I definitely agree with what some of you in here said years ago about keeping 'automatic' aspects of the game... 'automatic'! The only thing I'd not disagree with changing, is in OT allowing each ...

Re: Sack rules question

Way I see it is the play should be scored as a tackle. So I am in agreement with those above. Bradshaw did not make a conscientious effort to pass the football. If he had, then a sack could have been in play had he been tackled at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Re: New Books

All titles sound fascinating!

I'm also intrigued in the '70s Raiders piece. I just finished reading "Their Life's Work" by Gary M. Pomerantz on the '70s Steelers. Thus it will be interesting to hear about the Steelers/Raiders from the Oakland players, coaches, fans, etc. perspectives.
