Happy to see Gradishar on the list. Disappointed there is no Larry Grantham. Instead, there is Tommy Nobis and Clay Matthews, neither of whom I believe had stronger careers than Grantham. Looks like more disrespect to the AFL guys who deserve to be there.

Who knows where Bert Jones may have been had injuries not killed his career? He had three solid seasons, including a first-team all-pro choice and NFL MVP award. The talent he had, Jones could be in the HOF. Bill Belichick swears he is the most talented QB he ever watched.

I just can't get behind the idea of making special provisions to allow for more seniors to be inducted. IMO, they should earn it under their own merit. If the HOF selectors can't find the players who are most deserving, then that is on them. They need to do their homework better.
