It seemed to me that ABC used Schenkel to start off a game and then Keith Jackson would take over once ratings got favorable. In contrast to Schenkel, Jackson had an annoying twang to his voice. He always looked very sloppy and reminded me of hillbilly. Woo Nellie was one of his stupid expressions....

It still amazes me that broadcasts of the 1961 NFL Title Game and 1962 AFL Title Games, for example, are in circulation but we still can't get a complete film of the first Super Bowl, which came five years later. It still amazes me that broadcasts of the 1961 NFL Title Game and 1962 AFL Title Games, for example, are in circulation but we still can't get a complete film of the first Super Bowl, which came five years later.

I saw OJ go over 1,000 yards at the halfway point of the 1973 season, which meant halfway to his total of 2,000 yards that year. It was the first Monday Night game ever at Rich Stadium in Orchard Park.
