Re: Harrison versus Tim Brown for HOF
Sharpe is a better candidate for a Sayers/Stephenson type exception than Terrell Davis.

Re: Kurt Warner first ballot or not?
No. The highs of his career were as high as pretty much any QB that can be named, but it doesn't erase the roughly five season period of his career where he was largely injured or a backup. Overall, he has enough to get in but, with Favre up next year, I'd wait until 2017 to put him in.

Re: Pace versus Shields for HOF
Both are deserving. I seem to be in the minority, but I don't see why it would be so unfair if Pace waits a year and Shields goes in this time. As it stands, there seems to be a big push for Pace to be first ballot. That's probably because of the number of people who link him and Jonathan Ogden and ...

Re: Whci of the three coaches, Coryell, Johnson or Dungy?
His family and other big supporters may have mixed feelings about it, but I think Coryell's best way in would be as a contributor. From a W's and L's view, I think he comes up short. He deserves a great amount of credit for turning the Cards and Chargers into contenders, but he and the team couldn't...

Re: Harrison versus Tim Brown for HOF
Bruce didn't make the finalist list.
Harrison should've gone in over Reed last year. I think Brown is also more deserving than Reed.
Outside of Seau, I think Harrison is the biggest lock on this year's finalist list.

Re: Davis versus Bettis for HOF
The idea that Terrell Davis is more deserving of the HoF than Bettis gives me a headache. For one, how come so few bring up the fact that Bettis spent his prime with the likes of (past his prime) Jim Everett, TJ Rubley, Mike Tomczak, Jim Miller and Kordell Stewart? None of them were close to even la...

2014 NFC South: New Worst Division Ever?
As I type this, the Saints are about to lose their third in a row (all at home). Despite that, they'll still be tied with the Falcons for first in the division at 4-7. It's the first time a division leader has been three games under .500. Their "defense" is utter garbage and Brees, by his ...
