The DC/Baltimore Chapter held their first PFRA Author Event on March 2 with Matthew Algeo, author of Last Team Standing (recipient of the PFRA’s 2006 Nelson Ross Award), which tells the story of the Steelers/Eagles "Steagles" franchise during World War II. The Western New York Chapter held their eighth annual conference on April 20 in Springville, NY, the home of Pop Warner. Jeffrey Miller organized the conference. Attendees were treated to a great speakers program including former Bills defensive back Marlon Kerner, former radio play- by-play Voice of the Buffalo Bills John Murphy, author/sportswriter Scott Pitoniak, author/podcaster Darin Hayes, sports broadcaster Jon Bozeka, and Dayton Triangles football historians Mark Fenner and Kevin O’Donnel. Plans are already under way for the ninth annual conference which will be held on April 26, 2025. The Great Plains Chapter hosted a virtual meeting organized by Ryan Christiansen on May 21 with a presentation by Ashley LaVigne, the Executive Director of the Koochiching County Historical Society and Bronko Naguski Museum.
