Larry Beightol, offensive line coach for the Falcons, Buccaneers, Chargers, Jets, Oilers, Dolphins, Packers, and Lions, died April 4 at age 81. His masterpiece might have been his early-2000s line in Green Bay that included Mark Tauscher and Chad Clifton and led the way for Ahman Green's best years.

(And of course Simpson was guilty.)

Tobin was fired by Bart Starr as the Packers' director of pro scouting, so after he was hired by the Bears, for revenge he decoded the Packers' sideline signals prior to their game against Green Bay at Soldier Field. Result, 61-7 Chicago.

RIP Aaron Thomas

A talented receiver listed as a tight end. Imagine if a contender could have gotten him from the Giants, when they floundered but Tarkenton needed him on the team. TDs to receptions ratio was pretty good and he only lost one or two fumbles his entire career.
