My guess would be George Taliaferro. He moved around a lot in the 1950s (at least 3-4 teams) but was always a standout.

This is correct! 3 pro bowls, 3 teams, 3 years.

This QB played in 106 games over a 10-year career. Through his first 9 years, he compiled a winning record as a starting QB. In his final season, he doubled his career loss total to finish with a sub-.400 career winning percentage. Name the QB.

How about a hint -- just a broad one -- about the era when this guy played?
