The Raiders offered condolences over the "death" of former running back Clarence Davis--who is still alive--before deleting the post:

Love that call. A very raspy Don Meredith getting lost in the moment. Still amazes me how he held on with the force of the collision with Charlie Babb and Mike Kelon hounding him ferociously. It looks like the ball is up around his facemask too when he collides.

Considering what Oakland suffered through in 68 and 72, they were definitely owed one
