Good deed in KC

Post by Lee Elder »

I have been impressed by KC QB Mahomes and the nice thing he did for a group of sick kids in a KC hospital. It doesn't matter whether you root for KC or not, a good deed is a good deed.

Yep he does genuinely seem to be a good kid. I think the fact that he was never really considered to be a huge star in college and his school wasn't one that got a huge amount of exposure I think helped him avoid putting himself on a pedestal above everyone else.

Also, I think the fact that his dad was a major league baseball player gave him some insight into the whole role model concept.
