Has anyone read or seen this book? Here's a review in the Los Angeles Times:

The book's been out for over ten years, so I'm not sure why the LAT is reviewing it now.

No, but I have it saved on my Amazon list. Something about it caught my eye, but it isn't a high priority as I'm not sure how much of it is new and hasn't been detailed elsewhere. I don't think it deserved such a poorly written article as the LA Times gave it though - that was just awful, poor writing lack of depth, etc.
