He took special pleasure in the fact that after the Dolphins destroyed the Falcons in 1974, the Falcons fired Van Brocklin. That's because VB had cut him in typically cold fashion, not even bothering to talk with him before doing it.

Rick Forzano, head coach of the Detroit Lions from 1974-1976 died on January 9th. He was 90 years old.
