I remember a 1986 Monday Night game between the Cowboys and Rams where police made Tom Landry leave the field during the game because the team had received a death threat made against him.

Landry was given a bulletproof vest, which he wore under his sweater and jacket. He returned to the field shortly after.

1982 Monday Night game - last game before the players' strike - between the Packers and Giants at Giants Stadium. The lights went out in the second quarter:

Later, that night, Lynn Dickey shows how a quarterback takes out a linebacker:

The Jets playing two exhibition games in a span of 48 hours in August 1976 because of a pending hurricane before the first contest--which pushed that game back two days.

The AAFC Browns playing the Brooklyn Dodgers on October 10, 1948, with kickoff at 8:30 p.m. and a crowd of 31,187 at Cleveland Stadium. At 1 p.m. that day, the Indians and Braves played in Game 5 of the World Series, which started at 1 p.m. and wasn't over until 3:40 p.m. That game drew a then-record crowd of 86,288.

Not one game, but two...On Aug, 25, 1939, the Packers and Pittsburgh Pirates played a doubleheader in Green Bay. The first game was a 7-7 tie but the Packers won the second game 17-0.
