I'm glad to see that-- in this case, they're digitizing what's on microfilm for a starter, which is an excellent place to begin. We've all used microfilm readers. As everyone knows, you can't tell at a glance what's on a reel, nor can you quickly turn to the page you want.

I only used the microfilm a couple of times at Canton, but one thing that was on it was Bert Bell's scrapbook of newspaper clippings he compiled during his time as the NFL's boss. I think the article said that there are 40,000 pages worth of things to be digitized. I'll be looking forward just to knowing what Canton has once Jon Kendle and staff complete this phase.
