Weekly magazine - 1969 and 1970 Pro Football Guide

Anybody know about this publication called "Pro Football Guide" that appeared to be a weekly glossy magazine in 1969 and 1970?

The only one I have is in the picture attached, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the origin of it was, how many issues and how long it ran for, any particularly interesting articles during its run, and in general what you thought of it for those who have seen issues.

The color covers looked like they were pretty good quality for the era, and the issue I have has some nice color pics inside too.

I'm thinking that since this coincided with Pro Football Weekly, perhaps the "Guide" lost out in the battle for weekly publication supremacy among football fans.
