Can anyone identify this touchdown?

In the NFL films show "Glory Year" about Sammy Baugh's great season of 1943 they show a clip from a game in which Baugh passes for a TD of about 25 yards or so in the snow to a #28 whom I assume is Bones Taylor. I've been interested in identifying that TD. I know it snowed in 1949 at NYG. ...

Re: wEirD player for player trades

Re: End of the Extra Point as we know it?

While we're on the subject of ridiculous changes to American football Field goals might not be as interesting as touchdowns, but I wouldn't call them boring-- most games that come down to the wire have turned upon the suspense of "the kick is up and it's....." And punts? A necessary evil....

Re: Name of book from 1970s about football on TV

I suppose it could be. My recollection is of one not that wide but more of a standard YA book size. However it has been almost 40 years since I saw the book. Often things aren't quite as we remember them.

Name of book from 1970s about football on TV

As I recall all the pictures featured a game between the Redskins and Vikings which I believe was the 1972 season opener of MNF. Does anyone else recall that book and if so would you recall the name of the book? ...
