Direct snap to Joseph out of FG formation. Planned 'pooch' punt, wasn't executed all that well.

Re: WRs who could/should have won MVP

Here are the WR/Ends that won some sort of top honor, either MVP or Player of the year (not Offensive Player of the Year) - some of them are minor the bolded ones are major, IM) 2022 • Justin Jefferson, WR - Minnesota Vikings (Sporting News*) Jefferson won SN Offensive Player of the Year. Since the...

Re: WRs who could/should have won MVP

I used to keep track of who (I thought) should win awards if the entire season counted (i.e. Week 1 through the Super Bowl) so I had Larry Fitzgerald for 2008 "NFL MVP."

Re: Next rule change

I'll end with my own personal rant against Patrick Mahomes and QBs in general. Its the play where they are scrambling to the sideline and then at the last instant when the defender has to pull up or risk a personal foul penalty, Mahomes will cut upfield for more yards. Mahomes had a scramble at the...

Re: random Overtime/Kicker question

There was a 2005 Ravens Packers game where both teams were out of it and the Ravens stomped a Packers team that didn't show up. But blowouts maybe aren't as bad as two bad teams playing a close game badly, which is what this was. So this one is historic in that sense. Always remember it as a brutal...

Re: Bronko Nagurski statistics in 1930 and 1931

In my opinion, the jt site doesn't contribute anything original - it just copied Neft's work without crediting it (@ChrisBabcock, not directed towards you, just irks me although it could be an innocent mistake - maybe he thinks they're official statistics and not the result of painstaking research)...

Re: Rules question from Sunday

All-22 shows a fair catch signal - guess game didn't show that Nope, the broadcast never did. Pbp immediately said it was a fair catch when he caught it but right after they showed Campbell saying he didn't and the official waving -like he did signal- back at him. Which the announcers didn't acknow...

Re: Rules question from Sunday

What? I watched a UNLV-Air Force game on Saturday where UNLV's offense consisted of RPOs where the center would run downfield and tackle the MLB while the QB completed passes over the middle. No one said anything during the broadcast. UNLV eventually got flagged for it, once, and then at the end of...

I always liked that one, too. Especially the Broncos-Patriots snow game footage.

Seems to be the trajectory he's on.
