Fred Taylor was pretty consistent throughout his career. He averaged over 76 rushing yards per game and had seven 1,000+ yard rushing seasons. But I wouldn't consider him a HOFer. A guess as to why he's a finalist is there aren't any "slam dunk" RBs so they are just picking the next closes...
