Re: TECHNICAL HELP
You could do a screen capture of the open folder of files. But that would just give you an image of all the file names. Not the text of the file names themselves. Not sure if that helps.

Re: 1970 realignment questions
Cool history. Thanks! Also, the plan that was chosen was the only one that had Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit and Chicago in the Central division. Weird... one would think this grouping of 4 teams would be impossible to break up! But almost a half century of hindsight might be making me think that. T...

Re: Past season predictions
I can't remember any off the top of my head other than last year was the first time I correctly predicted the Super Bowl matchup before the regular season started. Seahawks over Broncos. For what its worth, that's my pick for this year too. I remember before the 1991 season almost all the pre-season...

Re: ridiculous password requirement
I agree. I decided to start mine with a capital letter, and end with a ! Seems like it would be fairly easy to remember that way.

1970 realignment questions
I have some questions about the 1970 merger realignment and late 60s NFL divisional alignment. First, I know there were a bunch of ideas thrown around as to how the new look 1970s NFL would break down divisionally. Does anyone know what some of the ideas that were scrapped were? I know that the 2002...

Re: '69 Lombardi vs Noll, Shula, Landry
Most likely Knox with the Bills or Seahawks since Noll and Shula were both AFC coaches.

Re: '69 Lombardi vs Noll, Shula, Landry
Not cheating by checking on www.pro-football-reference.com...... I'd say its one or more coaches who hung around coaching long enough in the 70s and/or 80s.
Chuck Knox?
Bud Grant?
John Madden?
John Robinson?
If I had to guess ONE I'd go with Knox.

Re: Reconciling the whole Browns/Ravens issue
I'd be curious as to how that conversation went, and if anything possibly could have come from it.Modell did contact the Irsay family about buying the rights to the name "Colts".

Re: Reconciling the whole Browns/Ravens issue
I agree. What's even worse is what recently happened in the NBA... The Charlotte Hornets (who were an expansion team in 2002 as the Bobcats) recently had the previous Charlotte Hornets franchise history deleted from another team's and added to their own. Here's the chain of events: 2002: The origina...
