Re: Historical Misconceptions that "grind your gears" Starte
I'm not even sure how to reply to this. The 90s Cowboys were incredibly deep in talented players. To call Ken Norton and Emmitt Smith "overrated" is insane. It's true not every player was "the best" at their position (what team can claim that?) but Dallas had legitimate All-Pros...

Re: NFLgames postponed or moved due to weather
Weren't the Dolphins considering a move to Tampa at some point?A Dolphins "Home" game against the Patriots in 1969 in Tampa.

Re: 1971 FB preview
Pretty interesting. Only one person picked Washington to even make the playoffs, and there was a guy that picked Houston to go to the Super Bowl.

How good was King Corcoran? And of course there's King Corcoran, made famous in the NFL Films documentary on the Firebirds, who briefly played for the Boston Patriots in 1968.

Re: NFL Top 50 Players
They had Nitschke rated ahead of Jack Ham. I don't know about that. He was good, but not top-50 all-time material.
Also, they better not have Brady rated in the top-20. I wouldn't even have him on this list.

Re: NFL's Greatest Games of the 21st century....
I would hope the 49ers comeback against the Giants in 2002 would make the list. (me being a 49ers fan since the Montana era) :) http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200301050sfo.htm Interesting personal story about this game. Back then, my girlfriend (now wife) would always make a point ...

NFL's Greatest Games of the 21st century....
is on tonight (well, that's what they should call it now). The NE-Carolina SB episode will be on ESPN 2 at 9 p.m, and then they are having that stupid one about the Seattle-NO WC game from four years ago (why they are doing one about that I have no idea). My predictions for next year: The Tebow play...

Re: Hypothetical Coaching Question
In no particular order, just as they come to mind... Marv Levy Tony Dungy Dick Vermeil Bum Phillips Out of that list, I would like to play for Phillips and Levy the most, then Dungy. I would have Vermeil dead last. Way too hard of a driver. Had the Eagles uptight before SB XV, and lost. Also, worke...
