Re: Two receiver seasons with a parallel; 70 years apart

Also the season in question for each player is a HUGE outlier in comparison to the rest of their careers. Their second best season isn't even close. Of course Kupp could have a lot of career yet to be played so that could change.

Re: Top, and Worst, Ten teams of the 14-game era, '61-thru-'77?

I think the 1977 Buccaneers need to be in the top 10 worst list. If you look at their first 12 games only, they're definitely worse than the 1976 0-14 team. Half of those games they scored ZERO points. Single digit scoring in 4 others. Gary Huff led the team in TD passes with TWO.

Re: Obscure trivia

EDIT... Ok so I might have found a glitch on Stathead. When I search for number of KO TDs allowed by the Steelers in the 1950s it lists 5. When I change the search to list individual games the Steelers allowing a KO TD in the same span, it only lists the 3 Matson games. Hmmm I found an error in the...

Yes that absolutely constutes an obscure trivia questio...

I definitely met him but I forget his name. I'm pretty sure Adam (conace) remembers his name.

Re: Dumb and Amazing factoids

Speaking of Purdue, I read or heard about 10 or so years ago that that school holds the distinction of having the most combined NFL passing yards. (Dawson, Griese, Brees, etc ). I think that has since been surpassed by another school.

Re: Name the Player trivia!

*I was a RB who was drafted by the NFL even though I only ran for 400 yards in college. *I played 4 years in the NFL with two different teams. *I ended up with almost three times as many receiving yards as rushing yards, even though I only caught 6 passes in college. *I scored two career TDs, both ...

Name the game.... - The head coach of the losing team in this game once was the head coach of the winning team earlier in his career. - A hall of Fame running back ran for 3 TDs. - A future teammate of James Lofton threw a TD pass. - The winning QB was in his final NFL season. MNF, Wk#3, 1985: Rams...
